15-18 March 2018
A three-day hackathon/conference focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT). The objective is to create the best IoT solution and meet like-minded developers. The event is held at Voksenåsen Hotel in Oslo, Norway. Read more.
The challenge has started, and the teams are already creating a lot of cool solutions. Read more on the submission blog where the teams write about their solutions, and view the current leaderboard.
Dimitris is a software engineer at Aptiv in Gothenburg, Sweden. During the day he is working on bringing Android infotainment to the automotive industry. In the evenings, he develops open source software and hardware projects that he likes to blog about. He is enthused about robotics, IoT, autonomous driving and DIY gadgets.
Eirik is an engineer at Nordic Semiconductor, who after a long career as embedded software developer joined the dark side and now works in product management. Who knows, maybe one day he will transform back to a coding jedi? Always passionate about technology and gets really excited about new product ideas. Make sure you reach out to Eirik for questions on wireless technologies, development on constraint devices, and device security.
Working as a software architect and developer, Christian always tries to incorporate the future today - IoT. He has a strong ambition to grow the IoT community and to build bridges between the various expert fields in IoT, thus initiating ARIoT in 2015. He looks forward to see all the cool solutions from this year's event. As a judge, Christian is known to be strict, but fair.
The price for attending ARIoT is NOK 7000,- (ex. VAT). This includes:
Everyone who might be involved in creating an IoT solution. How you set up your team is up to you, but here are some suggestions.
If you work with Java, .NET, Objective-C, PHP or something else - it doesn't matter. The solutions will need applications to interact with, monitor and control them.
C, C++, Assembly or Lua? Show off your skills by making those tiny devices perform magic.
With all that incoming data, you need to find the patterns and make gold from all that mess.
IoT solutions will need new devices that haven't been invented yet. We need you to make them!
Industrial, graphical and interaction designers are important to shape all the new products and solutions.
Those crazy, innovative ideas... We need you to realize them into something that will actually work.
There actually is an I in IoT. Everything is connected to everything, and someone needs to make sure those connections work seamlessly.
Who will keep the project on track, and make sure the team delivers value? You.
We have probably forgot to mention someone. But if you don't fit into any of the mentioned categories, but still know you will be able to contribute to the team - join in!
